Delivery Terms and Conditions
At Timber M8, we aim to make ordering timber simple, reliable, and transparent. Our delivery network is designed to provide fast, dependable service for both trade and retail customers across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
How Ordering Works
- Place your order via our website, email, or phone
- We confirm availability with our warehouse partner and send you a delivery confirmation — typically within 2–4 hours for orders placed before 12:00pm
- Your order is delivered to your door, kerbside, by our delivery team
All orders are subject to stock confirmation before dispatch. You will receive a confirmation from our team before your delivery is booked.
Melbourne Metro Deliveries
Next business day delivery is our target for orders confirmed before 12:00pm (noon) on a business day, subject to stock availability, warehouse readiness, and delivery capacity.
- Orders confirmed before 12:00pm → targeted for next business day delivery
- Orders confirmed after 12:00pm → targeted for the following business day
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays → treated as received the next business day
Once your order has been confirmed and your delivery booked, we will notify you of your expected delivery window.
Regional Victoria Deliveries
For regional deliveries, please allow a minimum of 48 hours from order confirmation, depending on your location and product availability.
We recommend placing regional orders in advance to allow sufficient time for scheduling.
Delivery Timeframes
Deliveries are completed between 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Delivery windows may vary depending on route scheduling, order size, and site access conditions. We will notify you of your delivery window once it is confirmed.
Order Confirmation Process
When you place an order with Timber M8, our team will:
- Review your order and verify all details
- Contact our warehouse partner to confirm stock availability
- Book your delivery once availability is confirmed
- Send you a delivery confirmation with your expected delivery window
Please note: We do not dispatch orders until stock has been confirmed by our warehouse partner. In the unlikely event that a product is unavailable, we will contact you promptly with alternatives, an updated ETA, or a full refund.
Special Orders
Products not held in standard warehouse stock are classified as Special Orders.
These items are sourced specifically to fulfil your order and may require additional lead time of 2–4 months, depending on the product and current supplier stock. Estimated timeframes will be confirmed at the time of purchase.
Special Orders:
- Cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind
- Can only be returned if the product is faulty or damaged
Freight & Delivery Conditions
All deliveries are kerbside delivery only.
Our drivers will make every reasonable effort to place goods as close as possible to your requested location. Placement beyond kerbside cannot be guaranteed unless arranged in advance.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Difficult or restricted site access
- Hand unloading requirements
- Specific placement requests beyond kerbside
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- Safe and clear access is available for the delivery vehicle
- Someone is available on-site if required, or that unattended delivery has been pre-approved with our team
If We Cannot Complete Your Delivery
If our driver is unable to complete delivery due to unsafe access, no site access, or an unreachable customer, our team will contact you to arrange a suitable redelivery time. Please note that redelivery fees may apply.
Important Information
- All delivery timeframes are subject to stock confirmation, warehouse processing times, and delivery capacity
- Next business day delivery is a target, not a guarantee
- Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or operational factors outside of Timber M8's control
- Timber M8 will communicate any delays to you as soon as they are identified
